He’s been hard at work on the Vancouver set of his new movie “New Moon,” and earlier today (May 19) Robert Pattinson was spotted at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival.

The “Twilight” stud showed up at a photo call for “New Moon,” looking hunky in a black polo shirt with white stripes teamed with a pair of black trousers and a tousled coif.

In related news, Robert and his costars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner are scheduled to present an exclusive scene from “New Moon” at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards coming on up May 31st.

The never-before-seen clip will likely be the highlight of the night, though having Andy Samberg as host will be a treat as well.
