Celebrity Gossip: Celeb Hilary Duff is Keepin’ Fit in Toluca Lake
Keeping herself in tip-top shape, Hilary Duff ventured out for her routine Pilates class in Toluca Lake on Wednesday morning (June 10).
Dressed casually, yet still looking stylish, the “Cheaper By the Dozen” cutie then stopped off for a coffee pick-me-up after finishing up with her workout session.
Coming later this summer, Miss Duff will be starring in a new film called “What Goes Up,” along with Steve Coogan, Molly Shannon, and Olivia Thirlby.
The flick is set in the mid-80s when a reporter is sent to cover the Challenger Space Shuttle launch only to become mixed up in the lives of some local students.

Celebrity Gossip: Celeb Hilary Duff Bike In Style Beauty Awards
She’s always sure to stay up on the latest fashion trends, and yesterday (June 2) Hilary Duff was spotted at the Bike in Style Challenge awards ceremony.
The “War, Inc.” actress looked lovely in a grey scoopneck belted dress as she checked out all the action at the LVMH Tower Magic Room along with designer Donna Karan and actress Marion Cotillard.
Of the event, Ms. Karan explained, “The DKNY design team focused on helping the students to incorporate these essential elements of the City into their designs, with the goal of making fashionable, functional urban biking a reality.”
“We are proud to be involved in a program that fosters the next generation of designers and will make NY an even better, more environmentally friendly, place to live and work.”

In quite the cheerful mood, Hilary Duff was spotted paying a visit to Fred Segal store in Santa Monica, California on Tuesday (May 19).
Carrying a big bouquet of flowers after spending some time inside the popular boutique, it’s thought that the “Cheaper By the Dozen” cutie was there for business purposes rather than shopping.
The visit comes as Miss Duff has been delving into the world of fashion with a new jean line for DKNY called Femme.
Talking to Nylon magazine about her designing endeavors, Hilary said, “We did two pairs of jeans this season-it’s kind of a selfish line, because it’s skinny jeans, which look the best on me. There’s other stuff, too, like little shrunken leather jackets. I wanted the stuff to be smart.”
Explaining the source of her inspiration for the new clothes, Duff tells, “Just normal girls. I’ll be walking down the street and think, oh she looks cute! Especially being in New York is nice, because everyone has such unique styles.”

Continuing to do her part for charity, Hilary Duff and boyfriend Mike Comrie took part in the Gay Men’s Health Crisis’ AIDS Walk in Central Park on Sunday (May 17).
Acting as co-host, the “Cheaper By the Dozen” cutie spoke to the crowd before beginning the walking duties with her “Hilary Duff – Walk with Love” team.
Prior to the event, Miss Duff spoke about the importance of continuing with AIDS awareness initiatives, saying: “We have a responsibility to educate young people about HIV/AIDS. So when I hear about how more young people are getting HIV because they don’t understand the risks of infection, it just seems so tragic and avoidable.”
Meanwhile, GMHC Director of Special Events, Kenneth Cox, told Outtake: “The epidemic has been around for some 27 some odd years and statistics are showing us that the attention that people are paying to AIDS is falling from about 34% awareness five years ago to, I think a shocking number, of 14% today.”

Back on the east coast after a short stay in Los Angeles, Hilary Duff attended the lighting ceremony at the Empire State Building in new York City on Thursday (May 14).
The “Stay Cool” cutie was on-hand to pull the lever - which beamed out a bright red light in honor of the AIDS walk taking place in the Big Apple.
“In tough times, it’s even more important for people to get involved,” Duff said in a statement prior to her charitable visit. “Everyone should find a cause they believe in whether it is something in your local community or something as big a global issue as AIDS.”
Talking about the event, Marjorie J. Hill, chief executive officer of GMHC, explained, “From sunset to midnight on Thursday, New Yorkers will see the solid red color, synonymous with AIDS awareness, beaming from the building. The red lights will serve as a reminder that AIDS is still a matter of great urgency in New York and throughout the United States.”

Though she’s usually clad in the hottest fashion trends, yesterday (May 7) Hilary Duff looked like she was putting comfort before style.
The “So Yesterday” songstress made her way around Toluca Lake, California dressed in what looked to be her pajamas, carrying a blanket and a bottle of water.
In related news, Hilary recently told press she’s grateful to have her boyfriend Mike Comrie back in Los Angeles while he’s on hiatus from his hockey duties.
“He plays hockey in Ottawa, so he’s in town for the summer...so he’s gotta show up for all my stuff now since I’m constantly going to visit him. He’s a good sport about all of it, and he’s great. I’m happy to have him back!”

She’s no stranger to swanky high-profile events, and last night (May 6) Hilary Duff was busy playing hostess in Los Angeles.
The “So Yesterday” songstress looked excited as she hosted the Herve Leger by Max Azria Celebration at Live! on Sunset Boulevard, working the red carpet like the seasoned pro that she is as she joined fellow guests including boyfriend Mike Comrie.
And of course, Miss Duff was the belle of the ball, turning heads left and right in her mint green minidress with matching funky strappy heels.
The evening celebrated the debut of the “Live! On Sunset” boutique and the Herve Leger by Max Azria bandage dress. Guests enjoyed live music, cocktails, and appetizers.

Carrying a Hermes Birkin bag, Hilary Duff hit up the designer shoe department of Barneys New York in Beverly Hills on Tuesday (May 5).
Also donning a trendy pair of black framed glasses, the former “Lizzie McGuire” star browsed the shops selections before finishing up with her outing.
Meanwhile, Miss Duff recently took a moment to chat about her new movie, “Provinces of Night,” in which she plays a character named Raven.
Asked about the film and her character, Hilary tells, “I wouldn’t say ‘gothic,’ but she (Raven) definitely is in a dark place with her family. Her mom, you can kind of tell they have a loving relationship but I think my character’s constantly challenged with, you know, who she is. If she’s like her mother or if she’s totally different, but she doesn’t know how to be different. And she’s never fallen in love or even knew that that was out there until she meets Fleming and she gets to experience something that’s kind of magical to her. And it gets taken away. It’s a very hard story to explain but everybody’s characters are key and it’s really just about how all of their relationships are intertwined, I guess. And how you hurt the people that you love.”

Taking care of their weekend errands, Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie were spotted out shopping at Vons Supermarket on Sunday afternoon (April 26).
The cute couple walked side-by-side as they loaded up their groceries into Hil’s black Mercedes SUV before driving away.
As previously reported by Gossip Girls, Hilary and Mike just recently returned to LA following a promotional stop for Miss Duff’s new movie “Stay Cool” in NYC.
Meanwhile, the former “Lizzie McGuire” starlet will be returning to the Big Apple in a few weeks, as she’s scheduled to take part in the AIDS Walk on May 17 to raise money for life-saving prevention, treatment and care for the troubling disease.

Making their way back to the west coast, Hilary Duff was spotted arriving at LAX Airport with her boyfriend Mike Comrie on Saturday (April 25).
With the former “Lizzie McGuire” starlet shying away from photographers as she arrived, the twosome toted their luggage through the terminal and out to an awaiting car.
As previously reported by Gossip Girls, Hilary and Mike have been posted up in New York City, as Hilary promoted her new movie “Stay Cool” at the Tribeca Film Festival.
Co-starring Winona Ryder and Sean Astin, the film is about “an author who returns to his hometown to deliver a commencement address to a class of graduating high school students has to deal with his feelings for an old flame (Ryder) as well as the advances of a student (Duff) who has the hots for him.”
