Celebrity Birthdays: Angelina Jolie Celebrated Her 34th Birthday on Thursday
She’s arguably the hottest woman in Hollywood, and today (June 4) Angelina Jolie is celebrating her 34th birthday!
The “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” actress has been hard at work on her new film “Salt” out in New York City, but hopefully she’ll get some time off of her busy schedule to celebrate with family and friends.
And as a birthday present, Miss Jolie has been named to the top of the Forbes Celebrity 100 list, knocking perennial favorite Oprah Winfrey out of the #1 spot.
Meanwhile, Angelina and partner/babydaddy Brad Pitt are definitely not splitting up, despite a report that claimed the couple was calling it quits. Their rep told press that the rumors are “not true.”

Hollywood Gossip: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Not Breaking Up
Once again finding themselves the center of split rumors, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are not pulling the plug on their relationship.
Stemming from a National Enquirer report, Pitt’s rep has since told press that the talk of an impending separation announcement is “absolutely not true.”
Echoing similar sentiments, Angelina’s rep also denied any truth in the tabloid’s report, saying the story is “not true at all.”
Meanwhile, Miss Jolie certainly has reason to celebrate - as she was named as Forbes’ most powerful person in the world - dethroning two time list topper Oprah Winfrey.
Falling behind the “Wanted” actress, Oprah came in second, while Madonna, Beyonce Knowles and Tiger Woods rounded out the top five.

She’s one of the most sought-after actresses in Hollywood, and yesterday (May 31) Angelina Jolie was spotted working her magic on location in New York City.
The “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” hottie was busy shooting scenes for her latest film “Salt,” looking slick in a dark jacket/top/trousers combo.
According to a report Jolie sustained minor injuries while filming an action sequence this past Friday and was taken to the hospital.
A rep from the set told press, “This morning while filming an action sequence ... Angelina Jolie sustained a minor injury. As a precautionary measure, Ms. Jolie will be taken to the hospital and examined. Production on the film has resumed.”

Giving everyone on-hand quite the scare, Angelina Jolie was reportedly taken to the hospital after an on-set injury in Long Island on Friday (May 29).
The incident occurred on the set of “Salt,” with TMZ reporting that Miss Jolie “bumped her head, getting some sort of nick in between her eyes.”
When crew members noticed that she was also bleeding a bit from the mishap, she was soon taken to a nearby hospital.
The latest reports tell that the injury occurred during the course of a stunt, with her manager confirming that the “Wanted” actress will be just fine.

With handcuffs dangling from her wrist, Angelina Jolie was spotted out for work on the set of “Salt” in New York City on Sunday (May 24).
Taking a break from the day’s filming, the “Wanted” actress enjoyed a slice of chocolate cake as she mingled with set workers in celebration of the assistant director’s birthday.
The previous day, Miss Jolie was also busily at work the previous day - having just returned to the Big Apple following a short trip to southern France.
Angelina made the overseas excursion to support partner, Brad Pitt, at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival as he premiered his new Quentin Tarantino led film, “Inglourious Basterds”.

The center of attention everywhere they go, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were enjoying their time in France after visiting the Cannes Film Festival premiere of “Inglourious Basterds” on Wednesday evening (May 20).
The sexy couple arrived at club Baoli at 10:30 p.m. - joining a gathering of Brad’s co-stars to enjoy a late night soiree.
With heavy security including eight bodyguards, the stars were led to the VIP section - where Bradgelina chatted with guests and appeared to be happy to be in each other’s company.
Meanwhile, servers were dressed in World War II army outfits and served drinks, with an attendee telling that Miss Jolie was, “laughing and smiling and enjoying her conversations.”
“Brad was also smiling, but not laughing. He looked tired..he seemed more reserved than Angelina,” the insider added.
Also in the house, director Quentin Tarantino stayed at the opposite end of the “French Parisian” party, which glowed with tiki torches.
“He spent a lot of time dancing on the dance floor by himself. They played lots of cheesy party music as well as popular songs from his movies like Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction.”
Continuing about the A-listers night out, the source says that the party was not as glamorous as last years, but Pit and Jolie must have been having fun since they did not leave until 1:45 a.m.

Making their much-awaited arrival to the red carpet, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt attended the Cannes Film Festival premiere of “Inglourious Basterds” in Cannes, France on Wednesday (May 20).
The lovely couple happily posed for event photographers upon arrival, mingling with fellow co-stars and guests as they prepared for their big night in southern France.
As for his new movie, the “Fight Club” stud can barely recall agreeing to take part in the Quentin Tarantino directed WWII film.
“Quentin came to visit some time at the end of the summer, we talked about backstory, we talked about movies,” Pitt, 45, said. “I get up the next morning and see five empty bottles of wine right on the floor. Five.”
“And something that resembles a smoking apparatus. I don’t know what that was about -– and apparently I had agreed to do this film,” Brad continues. “Six weeks later I was in uniform, and I was Lieutenant Aldo Raine.”

Making their much-awaited arrival to Cannes, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were spotted arriving for the annual film festival on Tuesday evening (May 19).
Hopping out of their chauffeur-driven SUV, the “Mr and Mrs Smith” co-star couple are in town as Brad will be premiering “Inglorious Basterds” on Wednesday.
Prior to their arrival to the Cannes Film Festival, Angelina took time to visit the International Criminal Court in the Netherlands - as she watched the trial of a Congolese warlord charged with using child soldiers.
“After watching the proceedings from the viewing booth, I stood up and found Thomas Lubanga Dyilo looking at me,” Jolie told the AP. “I imagined how difficult it must be for all the brave young children who have come to testify against him.”

Hot Hollywood Star Angelina Jolie Looking Ahead to “Scarpetta”?
She’s been working diligently on her new spy thriller flick “Salt,” and it sounds like Angelina Jolie won’t be getting much of a break when she’s done with the gig.
According to a report, the “Changeling” hottie is rumored to be playing Dr. Kay Scarpetta in a film adaptation of the novel series by Patricia Cornwell.
In addition, the mother-of-six will also be busy voicing her character in “Kung Fu Panda 2” as well as a possible return for a “Wanted” sequel.
With such a busy schedule, it was good to see Jolie spending some quality time with her partner Brad Pitt and their daughters Shiloh and Zahara at a New York grocery store over the weekend.

Stocking up on some delicious treats, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were spotted with their daughters Zahara and Shiloh at a Stop and Shop grocery store in New York on Saturday (April 18).
The “Fight Club” stud and his “Changling” hottie looked like the picture of domestic bliss as they pushed their cart out to the parking lot.
Of the celebrity family’s shopping excursion, customer service worker Monira Ahmed told press, “They were here for 30 minutes and left. They were very friendly. They gave autographs and allowed people to take pictures of them inside… very nice.”
This showing of solidarity will hopefully put to rest rumors of relational strife, as Brad and Ang have been said to be going through a rocky time as of late.
