Ending her stay in the Big Apple, Rihanna was decked out in a camouflage hoodie as she left her Manhattan hotel on Friday (May 8).
The “Umbrella” beauty was escorted out to an awaiting ride, being taken off to the Newark Airport for a flight out of town.
As previously reported by Gossip Girls, the Barbadian beauty spent the previous evening at the DKMS Gala as part of a tribute to a young lady named Isabelle seeking a bone marrow transplant for her best friend, Jasmina.
During the course of the evening, Rihanna emotionally said: “I am so honored to be here to present the ‘Links of Love’ award to Isabelle for all she has done for her best friend. Thank you, Isabelle. Isabelle has spent time with Jasmina, and you’re right — she is awesome and absolutely worth fighting for. I also have to say she is lucky to have you. You’re an incredible best friend. She said, “It is an honor to play the St Lucia jazz festival this year. Since I first came to the island, I have been greeted with nothing but kindness and friendship, as well as incredible music and the most beautiful of settings.
Amy continued, “I have made friends for life and have been inspired by my surroundings. The laid-back lifestyle definitely suits me, it’s a home from home with great beaches. It also is an honor for me to appear on the same bill as great singers such as Chaka Khan and Patti LaBelle as well great jazz musicians like Monty Alexander and George Duke.”
And it sounds like the people of St. Lucia share a mutual love for the “You Know I’m No Good” singer- so much so that they’re opening a night club in her honor.
According to a report, the new joint, named “Rehab” will be up and running in time for the summer. “Work is proceeding at full pelt,” a source said. “The team behind the project couldn’t resist naming the place in tribute to St Lucia’s biggest fan.”

As for her marriage to Jay-Z, Knowles said it’s all about planning ahead if they want to get time together. “We try to sync our calendars. At least I can say I’m taking two weeks off and really take two weeks off… My priorities are slowly changing. So after this tour I might be tired and want to take two years off. Last weekend, Jennifer Harman hosted an event at the Venetian in Vegas. All proceeds went directly to the Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) with over $130,000 raised for animal cruelty prevention. Over 120 players turned out, including Simpsons voice-actor Nancy Cartwright and Dancing with the Stars contestant Karina Smirnoff. Of course, some of the best poker players in the world, Phil Hellmuth, Daniel Negreanu and Phil Ivey, were there as well.
Another charity poker tournament, “Ante up for Africa”, was recently held in Monte Carlo - home of the ongoing European Poker Tour - EPT - Grand Finale. 40 players donated the €4,000 entry fee and PokerStars added €100,000, raising more than 250,000 euros in total for relief efforts in war-torn Darfur, Sudan. PokerStars is one of the largest poker rooms online.

“There is a misconception that donating bone marrow is a complicated, painful procedure. Actually, there are two ways to donate, and both procedures are outpatient. If we can educate people on how easy the registration and donation processes are, everyone will sign up, since it’s a chance to save a life,” added Harf.

Upon showing up to the police station for questioning, Kiefer avoided speaking to press as he squeezed into the lower Manhattan precinct.

“I’ve wanted to tour in America and Canada for years and know that fans have been waiting a long time for this,” Minogue told press. “I’m thrilled that the opportunity has finally arrived.”
