He’s one of the most accomplished athletes in the world and Lance Armstrong has welcomed his fourth child into the world.

The Tour de France dominator and his girlfriend Anna Hansen said hello to Max, who weighed 7 lbs 5 oz and was 20 inches long, earlier this week.

Following his 12th place finish in the Giro d’Italia grand tour in Rome, Italy on Sunday, Armstrong hopped on a plane and headed back to the States for the impending arrival.

Filled with excitement, Lance tweeted, “Already at the airport in Rome. Headed home!! Baby #4 any minute now. CaNot wait!”

In yet another tragic Hollywood loss, David Carridine was found dead yesterday (June 3) in his Bangkok hotel room at the age of 72.

The “Kung Fu” actor was in Thailand working on a new film when the movie’s producer Chuck Binder went to his hotel room and found that he had passed away.

Binder told press that Carridine’s passing is “shocking and sad. He was full of life, always wanting to work… a great person.”

David is survived by his widow Annie Bierman whom he married back in 2004 (he has four other ex-wifes as well). The Oscar-nominated actor will be missed by all he touched.

It was a shocking announcement when she was named as runner-up on the “Britain’s Got Talent” show over the weekend, and now Susan Boyle has checked herself into a private clinic in London, England.

According to a rep, “Police were called to doctors assessing a woman under the Mental Health Act. The woman was taken voluntarily by ambulance to a clinic. At the request of doctors, police accompanied the ambulance.”

“Britain’s Got Talent” judge Piers Morgan spoke to Boyle shortly before she went to the hospital and reported that she is “fine” and has “gone in for some rest. She needs to get away from everyone- get away from the show, from the media, the public, and just have a bit of downtime to herself.”

Morgan continued, “She had too long to wait between the audition show and the final, and the pressure just builds and builds and builds. It’s been crazy; she has gone from anonymity to being the most-downloaded woman in history. But nobody, and I stress this, has had to put up with the kind of attention that Susan has. And no one could have predicted it – so we entered uncharted territory.”

The former World Heavyweight Boxing Champion and his family are understandably devastated in the wake of this horrific tragedy.

Tyson released a statement, saying, “We are grateful for the tremendous outpouring of love and prayers from all over the world. There are no words to describe the tragic loss of our beloved Exodus. We ask you now to please respect our need at this very difficult time for privacy to grieve and try to help each other heal.”

According to a report, Exodus was found dangling from a treadmill by her 7-year-old brother, who called her mother. Her mother subsequently called 911 and gave her CPR.

According to reports, the “Unforgettable” singer, who struggles with kidney disease, was with her cancer-stricken sister, Carole “Cookie” Cole when she received a call saying that a donor kidney was available to save Natalie’s life.

Natalie’s other sister, Timolin Cole, tells the New York Post, “She said, ‘What do you mean? I can’t deal with that right now! I’m here with my dying sister!’ ” But the doctor insisted that Natalie be at Cedars Sinai hospital within two hours.

Cookie, who had been diagnosed with lung cancer just the week before, died during Natalie’s surgery, Timolin said. “This is all so surreal, and it is devastating.”

The “Rehab” crooners management released a statement which regretfully announced that Miss Winehouse won’t be playing at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire on Sunday (May 31).

The statement read: “Amy would like to apologize to her fans who bought tickets,” adding that refunds could be had at point of purchase.

Meanwhile, Amy was hospitalized while staying in St Lucia last week, during which time she was said to be “complaining of chest pains.”

She was called Lucy and she has lived up to that: she has been the light of our lives, me and my wife Sue, and daughter Katie. However, Michael’s medical condition isn’t the reason that he recently pushed back the start of his residency at London’s O2 arena. AEG Live’s Randy Phillips told press, “The date change has nothing to do with his health. The truth is the show has grown in scope and complexity and size.”

He’s gearing up for the release of his new album, and earlier today Eminem was spotted arriving at Le Bourget Airport to do some publicity.

The “Slim Shady” rapper looked to be taking all the necessary precautions to prevent catching the swine flu, sporting a protective mask and gloves as he passed the paparazzi.

In a recent interview, Eminem confessed that though he’s clean and sober now, it was a very different story not too long ago. At one point in his drug addiction, he overdosed on pills that ended up being a near-lethal dose of methadone.

“My doctor told me those mysterious new pills were methadone, which is used to wean heroin addicts off dope. Had I known it was methadone, I probably wouldn’t have taken it. But as bad as I was back then, I can’t even say 100 percent for sure. My doctor told me the amount of methadone I’d taken was equivalent to shooting up four bags of heroin. Even when they told me I almost died, it didn’t click.”

As he plans his triumphant return to the top of the music world, Eminem opened up about his drug addiction woes in a recent article with Vibe magazine.

The 36-year-old tells: “It’s no secret I had a drug problem. If I was to give you a number of Vicodin I would actually take in a day? Anywhere between 10 to 20. Valium, Ambien, the numbers got so high I don’t even know what I was taking.”


Talking about a near-overdose experience back in 2005, the hip-hop star continues: “My doctor told me those mysterious new pills were methadone, which is used to wean heroin addicts off dope. Had I known it was methadone, I probably wouldn’t have taken it. But as bad as I was back then, I can’t even say 100 percent for sure. After suffering a knee injury and not being prescribed to pain pills due to his past history, Eminem tells: “I started looking around my house to see if I had a stash box of Vicodin. I’m ransacking my house, finally find something in the basement, in a little napkin, seven and a half Vicodin — the big extra strength ones — and a few Valium.”

Finally realizing that he truly is an addict, the “3AM” hitmaker reveals: “It never once hit me that drug addiction runs in my family. Now that I understand that I’m an addict, I definitely have compassion for my mother. I get it.”

Completely sober and ready to realease his new album, which hits stores on May 19, Em says, “I wanted to make an overall statement — I’m back. It was a slow process. You gotta remember I hadn’t recorded a song sober in seven years. So it took me awhile to even feel like I could record a song sober ... I don’t know the last time I shot a video sober, without drinking or taking anything. It’s been years.”

Continuing on, he ends: “I almost feel like a little kid again with rap. I wanna play around with different flows. If I don’t feel like it’s what I’m fully capable of, if there’s one weak line, I wanna change it. Rap was my drug. It used to get me high and then it stopped getting me high. Then I had to resort to other things to make me feel that ... now rap’s getting me high again.”

It’s been a whirlwind year for David Cook since winning last season’s “American Idol.” And on a very sad note, his brother passed away over the weekend.

Adam Cook battled cancer for over a decade and finally succumbed to the disease on Saturday. The very next day, the “Light On” singer was at the 12th Annual Race For Hope 5K in Washington DC to announce the news.

Cook told the crowd, “I actually lost my brother yesterday to a brain tumor, and I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else right now.”

David served as grand marshal of the event and also ran with a team that raised just shy of $100,000 for brain cancer research. He said, “I don’t run normally, but it seems a small sacrifice compared to what those who have fought cancer have endured. And the fact that my fans have rallied to raise so much in donations is the biggest compliment.”

Simon Cowell offered his condolences, saying, “I was incredibly saddened to hear the news. I met Adam Cook a few times at American Idol. He was an incredible guy, and right now my thoughts are with David and his family.”

An insider told press, “She needs to look after herself a bit more and that means drinking water and taking it easy.”

Apparently Winehouse’s condition isn’t too serious as she will still perform at the St. Lucia jazz festival next week. It will be her first gig of the year.
