Getting in a little retail therapy, Ashlee Simpson was spotted heading into Aahs on Ventura Boulevard in Sherman Oaks, California yesterday afternoon (June 4).
Joined by a gal pal, the “Pieces of Me” singer flashed a polite smile as she passed the paparazzi, sporting a pair of black sunglasses along with a grey sweater and black jeans.
In related news, it sounds like Ashlee has cleaned up the mess she made at the DJ Hero launch earlier this week when she verbally attacked her hubby Pete Wentz’s ex-girlfriend Michelle Trachtenberg.
According to a source, “She (Simpson) was staring directly at Michelle and starting hurling insults at her. Pete looked mortified.” Simpson’s rep clarified, “It was just a misunderstanding. Ashlee has since apologized to Michelle and they remain on good terms.”

Enjoying a swanky evening out, Ashlee Simpson was spotted dining at Il Sole restaurant in West Hollywood last night (June 3).
Joined by a gal pal, the “Pieces of Me” songstress looked a bit sad as she left the restaurant, carrying a doggie bag back to the car.
And though there have been rumors regarding an alleged incident between Ashlee and actress Michelle Trachtenberg at the DJ Hero event earlier this week, Simpson’s rep says don’t believe the hype.
Speaking of a supposed Simpson drunken verbal attack on the “Gossip Girl” star, Ashlee’s rep stated, “It was just a misunderstanding. Ashlee has since apologized to Michelle, and they remain on good terms.”

They’re always up for a good time, and last night (May 21) members of the “Gossip Girl” cast were spotted at a party held at the Gramercy Park Hotel.
Real life couple Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr looked cozy as they flirted with each other while posing for pics, with Ed sporting an all-black ensemble while Jessica went for an all-white outfit.
Meanwhile another GG couple, Blake Lively and Penn Badgley, followed suit as they arrived, with Penn in all-black and Blake in a white top with silver Capri pants.
And never one to be left out, Taylor Momsen showed off her punk rock princess look with bleached blonde hair and dominatrix-inspired attire.
Finishing out the guest list was brand new CW star Ashlee Simpson, who arrived alongside her hubby, Pete Wentz.

Enjoying a little family time, Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson paid a visit to the Children’s Museum of Manhattan in New York City on Thursday afternoon (May 21).
The cute couple toted around their young son, Bronx, as the Fall Out Boy bassist took on stroller duties to give his “Pieces of Me” singing wife a break from carrying their bundle of joy around town.
Meanwhile, Pete has been busy on his Twitter account, as per the usual, now trying to get backing for a new beverage idea.
He tweets: “Just came up with idea to patent soda that recarbonates itself after 24 hours. any lazy coke drinkers out there wanna throw in some capital?”
Seemingly not getting the response he expected, Wentz then wrote: “Ok not the idea just the idea to patent it. Still need that capital investment tho to hire some scientist to get the idea,” continuing, “Ok terrible idea. But a good drink one: half red wine half white wine glass- with a sliding lid like nerds. Party inventions!”

And given what a potent combination this was for the FOX network back in the 1990s, perhaps we’ll have another dynamic duo of shows to look forward to this fall.

Teaming up for a festive night on the town, the lovely ladies of the CW were out for a pre-upfront party in New York City on Wednesday night (May 20).
Joining in on the fun were the hotties from “90210,” as AnnaLynne McCord, Shenae Grimes, Jessica Stroup and Jessica Lowndes all made separate arrivals.
Also in attendance was Ashlee Simpson, who is starring in the revamped version of “melrose Place” - set to kick off its first season this fall.
Recent rumors tell that the CW plans to drop “Melrose Place” behind “90210” on Tuesday nights as part of its schedule makeover for the 2009-10 season. The network will reportedly send “90210’s” current follow-up, “Smallville,” back to Friday nights - with all to be confirmed later today.

And of course, Pete donned his typical urban hip vibe with a black FC zip-up hoodie teamed with a pair of black jeans and a newsboy cap.
Meanwhile, Ashlee was also out on the Manhattan streets, toting a large Coco Chanel handbag along with a white top, blue skirt, and black stockings.

Making for quite the star-studded affair, Tinseltown’s hottest were on hand for the T-Mobile Sidekick LX launch event at Paramount Studios on Thursday (May 14).
Gracing the red carpet in support of the new mobile device were reality starlets like Paris Hilton, who showed up with Doug Reinhardt, Kim Kardashian, and Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt.
Also on-hand for the evening’s festivities were Amanda Bynes, Emmy Rossum and Anna Faris, with all three ladies decked out in their finest garb.
Last, but not least, Ashlee Simpson joined Pete Wentz for the T-Mobile fete, greeting recently reunited couple Pink and Carey Hart during the course of the evening.

Hiring a babysitter to take care of Bronx Mowgli, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were spotted living it up at the T-Mobile Sidekick LX launch event last night (May 14).
The “Pieces of Me” songstress and her Fall Out Boy hubby looked blissful as they posed for the paparazzi outside Paramount Studios in Hollywood, California.
But after the T-Mobile gig, Pete had to race over to LAX International Airport to catch a flight to meet up with his band, currently on tour.
A tired-sounding Mr. Wentz tweeted, “Airport back to tour. Baby. Babymoma. Weezer. Missed blink. Zombie eyed. I live at lax.”

She’s diving into her role on the new CW revival of “Melrose Place” with everything she’s got, and yesterday Ashlee Simpson was spotted playing the dual role of actress and mommy.
The “Pieces of Me” songstress spent two hours on the set of her new gig, returning to her trailer to change into a plethora of outfits throughout the day.
And when she wasn’t needed on the set, Ashlee tended to her adorable little boy Bronx Mowgli, who has been spending plenty of time on location with his mom.
As could be expected, Mrs. Simpson-Wentz needed a little boost to get her through the day, hence she grabbed a can of Red Bull to help her along.
