Doing her best to continue along following her marriage’s unraveling, Kate Gosselin was spotted out in her yard in Reading, Pennsylvania on Wednesday (June 24).
Standing next to her new SUV, the “Jon and Kate Plus 8” mom looked comfortable casual in a summery patterned dress and cap as paparazzi snapped up shots.
The sighting comes just two days after Kate and now ex-husband Jon’s divorce announcement, which has led to a bit of mixed emotions.
“On a good day, I feel relief,” Kate says. “On a bad day, I feel failure.”

Jon and Kate Gosselin reunited this past week at their Pennsylvania residence after spending a whole two weeks apart as Kate vacationed with the kids in North Carolina.
And today marks the couple’s 10th wedding anniversary, with Kate being spotted out helping put up a bouncy castle outside of the couple’s Reading home earlier in the day.
Meanwhile, Us magazine reported about the couple’s troubled marriage back in May, offering exclusive details stating that Jon had an affair with 23-year-old school teacher Deana Hummel.
The newest issue of Us magazine exposed that Jon cheated on Kate’s 34th birthday in Utah -which includes exclusive pictures of him and his mistress.
Fans of “Jon and Kate Plus 8” were devastated to see the premier of the show and see how much the relationship had changed between the two, drawing in a record 9.8 million viewers.
“I am thinking this possibly could be our last family picture together,” Kate said of a photo taken at the sextuplets’ recent fifth birthday party. “I don’t know...parents of multiples have, like, triple the divorce rate, and I was thinking we were gonna beat that. I don’t know if I can say that anymore. Very swiftly, we turned into two different people, and that’s just hard. I’ve tried for six months to figure out what the problem is, or remedy the problem. It’s so complicated.”

Continuing on with her sun-soaked vacation, Kate Gosselin and her sextuplets were spotted posing for a family photo yesterday on the beach at Bald Head Island, North Carolina.
Joined by security guard (and rumored lover) Steve Nield, the Gosselin family looked to be having a great time despite the fact that patriarch Jon Gosselin and twins Cara and Mady were back in Pennsylvania.
The kids played in the sand and splashed in the water as the TLC cameras filmed footage for a new episode of their hit show “Jon and Kate Plus 8.”
In addition, the whole crew headed over to an alligator viewing spot while also making a stop at a local market for a few items.

According to an eyewitness, the “Jon and Kate Plus 8” star appeared “clearly smitten” by the baby as she waited to board the ferry from Bald Head Island while accompanied by her bodyguard, Steve Neild.
Also joined by her three 5-year-old sons, the group was followed throughout the outing by cameras as more material was gathered for her reality TV show.
Meanwhile, Ms Gosselin’s former fiance, Adam Miller, recently chatted with Star magazine about how Kate cheated on her on her 21st birthday.
Telling that he sees her as money-hungry, Miller said that she “hooked up with some guy in a Corvette after her (birthday) party. She was always chasing the money.”

Getting out and about while on vacation, Kate Gosselin treated her three 5-year-old daughters to a ferry ride off the shores of Bald Head Island, North Carolina earlier today (June 3).
The “Jon and Kate Plus 8” mother looked a bit pensive as she scanned for paparazzi while her three little darlings enjoyed the ride.
And though she tries her best to appear as a good mother when the cameras are rolling, an eyewitness reported that Kate is quite different when she doesn’t think anyone is watching.
“She completely ignored the children the entire time,” said the source. “When Kate sat on the edge of the pool, she told one of [the twins], ‘If you splash me, you’re dead meat.’ She wasn’t joking at all.”

Possibly worried that she’s fading in popularity due to the “Jon and Kate” coverage, Nadya Suleman (aka Octomom) has lashed out at Kate Gosselin in a new video submitted to Radar Online.
“She needs to stop being so judgmental and stop pulling at straws for attention,” Suleman tells of her reality show competition.
Then speaking out about Kate’s marital woes with Jon, Suleman continues, “My children are extremely healthy, strong and happy. Don’t you have, like, a lot of issues in your life? A lot of marital problems?”
Finishing up her attempt to kick off a catfight, the mother of fourteen adds, “Why are you so desperate to glob on to my life? For attention?”

Still noticeably absent from the scene was Kate’s husband Jon who hasn’t been seen in public since Memorial Day when he was spotted at a bar with two women.

Interestingly enough, Jon left out the fact that 23-year-old Deanna Hummel (the woman he had a 3-month affair with) was with him as he partied at The Canyon in Utah. Sneaky sneaky!

The “Jon and Kate Plus 8” babe, along with her eight kids and bodyguard Steve Neild, has been in the coastal town since earlier in the week where she’s shooting episodes for her TLC reality show.
According to a gift shop employee, things seemed to be fine among the large family. “They were so normal. They paid for their own things. It was very, let’s get in and out. It was like, please don’t take note of us.”

Getting out of Reading, Pennsylvania for the weekend, Kate Gosselin took her brood of kiddies on a trip to North Carolina.
The “Jon and Kate Plus 8” star was joined by bodyguard Steve Neild, although hubby Jon was nowhere to be seen.
As for the Gosselin family getaway, the group hit up the exclusive Bald Head Island, where they kept busy with time at the pool and driving around on golf-carts.
Later on, Kate and Steve were joined by another bodyguard as they enjoyed the idyllic island along with Kate’s twin daughters Madelyn and Cara, 8, and her five-year-old sextuplets Aaden, Joel, Collin, Hannah, Leah and Alexis.

As if they don’t have enough drama, the Gosselin family is now facing possible issues with labor laws.
According to Us magazine, an investigation being conducted by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor is underway to determine if their reality TV show, “Jon & Kate Plus 8,” is violating child labor laws.
After receiving a complaint about the show, Troy Thompson of the PA Dept. of Labor says, “We’re not saying that there was or was not a violation, just that we’re conducting an investigation.”
Being on the show, however, means the kids might be exempt from standards such as how many hours they can work per day. Ellen Dannin, a law professor at Penn State Dickinson School of Law says, “It’s not like acting. They’re just going about their regular lives.”

Getting in some errand running on the Memorial Day holiday, Kate Gosselin was spotted hitting up Petsmart and Starbucks in Reading, Pennsylvania yesterday (May 25).
And in a recent interview, the “Jon & Kate Plus 8” mommy told press that she’s not sure whether or not she and Jon will make it through another year of marriage.
Gosselin revealed, “I don’t know...parents of multiples have, like, triple the divorce rate, and I was thinking we were gonna beat that. I don’t know if I can say that anymore. Very swiftly, we turned into two different people, and that’s just hard. I’ve tried for six months to figure out what the problem is, or remedy the problem. It’s so complicated.”
Jon added, “I think it was good for them [the kids] to see their mom and dad together in one place, even though it’s been tough right now. Like I said, we will come together for our kids regardless of our relationship. We have to make a plan and settle jointly what we’re going to do. There are good times and bad times and nothing is perfect.”
And while she’s willing to accept her share of the blame, Kate says she can’t help but feel like Jon has been slacking. “Slowly, I’ve seen him almost resent the duties [of being a parent]. I know it’s a lot to take care of eight kids. I’m traveling a lot, he’s frustrated a lot. I think he’s angry at me. He doesn’t really feel great about me. Have I been hard on him for almost the last 10 years that we’ve been married? I would never deny that. I’ve always regretted it. Have I pushed him to this? I don’t feel like I have. I feel like everyone is responsible for their own actions.”

The mother of eight admits on a new clip from her show, “Jon & Kate Plus 8,” that “everything’s falling apart” in her marriage and that she feels “like the world is sitting on my shoulders.”
To make matters worse, viewers will notice that Jon and Kate sit separately in the upcoming testimonials, unlike prior seasons where the couple sat together.
And though things aren’t looking so hot for the Gosselins, Kate explains, “I will not give up. I will not lay down and die.”
The new season begins airing on May 25.

She’s getting more media attention than she probably ever imagined, and now Kate Gosselin is opening up about being in the spotlight.
The mother of eight told People magazine that, “Before this, I’d never stood on line at the grocery store, looked at the people on the cover of magazines, and thought about what they’re going through. But now, I understand what they live with: Everywhere you go you’re being stalked, you’re being followed – it’s hell, on the cover of a magazine.”
She continued, “I have to laugh about this, or else I’ll cry. It’s a matter of, when will they stop?”
Mrs. Gosselin also made it very clear that her kids are the most important thing and she will stop at nothing to protect them.

They must be used to the media attention by now, as Jon and Kate Gosselin carried on like normal at their home in Reading, PA earlier today (May 19).
The 32-year-old father was seen riding around the yard on an ATV four-wheeler while the 34-year-old mother was photographed around the home with her TLC film crew.
At one point, the couple had a truck delivery today of a playhouse that was in pieces and driven behind the house where you could hear builders putting it together. Perhaps a late birthday surprise for the sextuplets’ recent fifth birthday.
Filming is currently taking place for the fifth season, which will begin airing on May 25, 2009.

The “Jon & Kate Plus 8” mother, along with one of the sextuplets, ran errands to Kinko’s and the dentist office while making a few phone calls on her pink Blackberry along the way.
As previously reported, it was just yesterday that the entire Gosselin clan hit up a Pennsylvania water park to celebrate the sextuplets’ fifth birthday with everything looking to be just fine.
Meanwhile, the new 40-week season of Kate’s hit show premieres May 25th with an hour long edition.

Doing their best to come off as a happy family, Jon and Kate Gosselin took their eight kids to a Pennsylvania water park yesterday (May 17) to celebrate the sextuplets’ fifth birthday.
The “Jon and Kate Plus 8” family looked to be having a good time as they frolicked at the Blue Falls Grove water park, though Jon and Kate hardly interacted at all.
Instead, Jon chatted with bodyguard Steve Neild who was accused of having an affair with Kate. And according to an insider, Jon had considered hiring a private investigator to look into the allegations, though it seems he decided not to.
Meanwhile, the public display of family togetherness is the latest attempt by the Gosselins to preserve their image, though it seems things are headed downhill. Kate’s brother Kevin Dreider told press, “Six months ago, Kate came to Jon and said, ‘Hey, it’s over.’”
Doing their best to come off as a happy family, Jon and Kate Gosselin took their eight kids to a Pennsylvania water park yesterday (May 17) to celebrate the sextuplets’ fifth birthday.
The “Jon and Kate Plus 8” family looked to be having a good time as they frolicked at the Blue Falls Grove water park, though Jon and Kate hardly interacted at all.
Instead, Jon chatted with bodyguard Steve Neild who was accused of having an affair with Kate. And according to an insider, Jon had considered hiring a private investigator to look into the allegations, though it seems he decided not to.
Meanwhile, the public display of family togetherness is the latest attempt by the Gosselins to preserve their image, though it seems things are headed downhill. Kate’s brother Kevin Dreider told press, “Six months ago, Kate came to Jon and said, ‘Hey, it’s over.’”

The focal point of the media as of late, Kate Gosselin headed out with all of her kids to visit Party City in Reading, Pennsylvania on Saturday (May 16).
There picking up birthday supplies, the mother of eight was also joined by her bodyguard for the day’s outing - as the group made their way in and out of the store while paparazzi swarmed around.
Meanwhile, Miss Gosselin has been creating all kinds of talk not only through her marital issues, but also through her hairstyle - with rather negative feedback being the norm.
Professional stylist Jessica Gillin tells Us magazine, “The style seems almost punk 1980s, which might be cool if it was 1985 and she wasn’t a mother of eight. The back is way too short. It is almost a men’s clipper cut.”
Meanwhile, People magazine reader Bonnie tells: “Kate’s hair looks like each of the kids took a turn at cutting the back while she was sleeping.”

It’s no secret that her husband Jon has been facing some pretty condemning evidence of his alleged affair but Kate Gosselinsays she’s not too worried, chalking it up to a tabloid circus.
The “Jon & Kate Plus 8” mother told press, “I’m very hesitant to believe any of it. It goes with the territory.” She also noted that she takes the rumors with “a grain of salt since people are being paid to talk.”
Kate also noted that she is hoping people will respect the privacy of her family. “We’re dealing with it privately. It’s kind of ironic since we do have a reality show and people see the good, the bad and the ugly. But there are those things we keep to ourselves, and we’re working through it together, and that’s the important thing.”
Her husband Jon released a statement, saying, “These allegations are false and just plain hurtful. As I adjust to the attention that comes from being in the public eye, I need to be more careful and aware of who I am associating with and where I am spending my time. But the bottom line is, I did not cheat on Kate. I am sorry for putting my family in this awkward position, given some poor decisions and bad judgment I’ve made recently. I am working through this difficult time with my family. My family is my top priority.”
Mrs. Gosselin added, “Our kids are centrally in our focus, they always have been. They are very much loved, very well cared for...that will be how it’s going to be. We’re not perfect. I don’t have all the answers… We’re doing our best and learning how we go. We just need to weather this storm,” she said, “just like all the other storms we’ve been through.”
