On break from filming new episodes of “iCarly,” Miranda Cosgrove stepped out for a bite to eat in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon (June 10).
The Nickelodeon star was accompanied on the outing by her mother, as the pair enjoyed a meal at the Hungry Cat seafood restaurant.
Meanwhile, the 16-year-old actress recently dished about her excitement of planning to go to college.
“I’m getting excited about maybe going to another state for college. I want to go to NYU and branch out, be somewhere else for a while,” she says. “My parents want me to go to USC!”

Hard at work on her new project “Born To Be A Star,” Christina Ricci was spotted on the Santa Clarita set yesterday afternoon (June 3).
The “Buffalo 66” actress looked lovely in a red and white checkered dress overtop a white shirt with brown boots and a white apron.
As previously reported, it turns out Miss Ricci won’t be changing her name to Mrs. Benjamin anytime soon - as she just broke off her engagement with fiancé Owen Benjamin.
An inside source revealed, “Owen had a birthday party this past Sunday, and everything seemed fine. Sometime after, they got into a fight and decided to reevaluate things. [Then] the engagement was off.”
Another pal added, “They really are still close. They talk almost every day. It was a very mature decision and they both felt good about it. They’re definitely still friends.”

While they seemed to be the perfect match, Christina Ricci and fiance Owen Benjamin have called an end to their wedding plans by breaking off their engagement.
“Owen had a birthday party this past Sunday, and everything seemed fine. Sometime after, they got into a fight and decided to reevaluate things. [Then] the engagement was off,” a source told People magazine.
Talking about the current situation, another insider adds, “They really are still close. They talk almost every day. It was a very mature decision and they both felt good about it. They’re definitely still friends.”
Ms Ricci and Mr Benjamin first met on the set of “All’s Faire in Love,” then announcing their romance late last year.

She refuses to leave us alone—it is shameful and scary. People are going to say it takes two to tango and I get that, but at some point LeAnn needs to stop asking him to dance.”
After hearing such accusations, it is now being reported that “The What I Cannot Change” singer is putting her spokesperson to work who is now claiming, “These comments are incredibly defamatory. While there are always two sides to every story, LeAnn continues to remain above the fray and chooses not to play this out in the press.”

According to FOX Pop Tarts, the MTV reality starlet was involved in a fender bender this past Thursday (May 21).
The run-in allegedly occurred after the Los Angeles Lakers game at Staples Center – during which time Cavallari and a friend collided with another motorist.
“Airbags were inflated, but both people weren’t injured, just very shaken up,” an insider tells Pop Tarts.
Meanwhile, Kristin’s reps are denying that their client was involved in the smash-up.

I think some people feel like they have had success with one thing and one idea and one record and they want to pull a 180 and try a totally different thing. I definitely feel like that’s the wrong move. I feel like you just have to grow from it, you can branch off of it but keep the tree the same in some ways.”

Following a recent trip back to her hometown of Toronto, Shenae Grimes turned up in New York City on Tuesday (May 19) as she enjoys a break from her “90210” duties.

Meanwhile, the first season of Shenae’s hit CW show came to an end last night with an episode titled “One Party Can Ruin Your Whole Summer”.
Recent rumors tell that the CW plans to drop the new “Melrose Place” revamp show behind “90210” on Tuesday nights as part of its schedule makeover for the 2009-10 season. The network will reportedly send “90210’s” current follow-up, “Smallville,” back to Friday nights.

In related news, it seems Brooke still isn’t keen on her mother Linda’s relationship with her 19-year-old boy toy. She told press, “What people don’t know is that he’s a bad influence on her. She’s not staying as healthy as she should be.”

Stepping out for some groceries, Shia LaBeouf was spotted alongside his mother Shayna Saide at Whole Foods supermarket in Studio City yesterday (May 18).
The “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” stud looked cool and casual in a blue screenprinted t-shirt with faded grey jeans and a baseball cap.
In a recent interview, Shia told Playboy magazine that he had one date with Rihanna before he knew they’d never be more than friends. “It never got beyond one date. The spark wasn’t there. We weren’t passionate about each other in that way, so we remain friends.”
Instead, Mr. LaBeouf says he’s looking for someone more like his mother. “Probably the sexiest woman I know is my mother. She’s an ethereal angel. Nobody looks like that woman. If I could meet my mother and marry her, I would. I would be with my mother now, if she weren’t my mother, as sick as that sounds.”
