Celebrity News: Robert Pattinson’s Smooches For Auction at the amFAR Gala
We always hear of celebrities using their fame for charity, and last night Robert Pattinson offered up a pair of kisses to benefit amfAR.
Movie exec Harvey Weinstein told the crowd at the amfAR beneft in Cannes that his daughters love the “Twilight” stud so much that they want to change their last name to Pattinson. And then he put Robert up for auction!
An insider told press, “Harvey then suggested auctioning off an opportunity for someone’s daughter to meet and get a kiss on the cheek from Pattinson. There were two bidders who paid $20,000 each for their daughters to have that kiss.”
And it looks like everyone won in the end. “Harvey put him on the spot, in a playful way. And Rob agreed to it in his usual brooding, modest way.”
