Celebs Will Smith and Charlize Theron at National Tribute Dinner Night

They became good friends on the set of their movie “Hancock,” and last night Charlize Theron and Will Smith were spotted at the Simon Wiesenthal Center’s Annual National Tribute Dinner.

The “Italian Job” babe and the “I Am Legend” stud looked to be having a marvelous time at the Beverly Wilshire hotel, joined by Will’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith and his kids Trey, Jaden, and Willow.

And as it turned out, Will was in the house to accept the 2009 Humanitarian award for his work in the realm of human rights.

Smith announced, “I came down and saw the museum and I just really wanted to be a part of supporting what it means and what it stands for and I had such a fantastic experience.”

Of her pal Will, Charlize gushed, “I’ve actually never met anybody like Will. I’ve never met anybody who has the effect that he has on people. And putting all that aside, we all know that he opens movies like nobody’s business, so it doesn’t get any bigger than this guy. And if that’s not enough to make your mouth drop he is one of the most genuine people you’ll ever meet.”
