Ending her stay in the Big Apple, Rihanna was decked out in a camouflage hoodie as she left her Manhattan hotel on Friday (May 8).
The “Umbrella” beauty was escorted out to an awaiting ride, being taken off to the Newark Airport for a flight out of town.
As previously reported by Gossip Girls, the Barbadian beauty spent the previous evening at the DKMS Gala as part of a tribute to a young lady named Isabelle seeking a bone marrow transplant for her best friend, Jasmina.
During the course of the evening, Rihanna emotionally said: “I am so honored to be here to present the ‘Links of Love’ award to Isabelle for all she has done for her best friend. Thank you, Isabelle. Isabelle has spent time with Jasmina, and you’re right — she is awesome and absolutely worth fighting for. I also have to say she is lucky to have you. You’re an incredible best friend. And best friends are very, very, very important, the kind that we all would be lucky to have. You rock, Isabelle! Come up here!”

She’s spent the majority of the last six months on the Caribbean Island of St. Lucia, and earlier this week Amy Winehouse spoke out to thank the people of the island for their love.
She said, “It is an honor to play the St Lucia jazz festival this year. Since I first came to the island, I have been greeted with nothing but kindness and friendship, as well as incredible music and the most beautiful of settings.
Amy continued, “I have made friends for life and have been inspired by my surroundings. The laid-back lifestyle definitely suits me, it’s a home from home with great beaches. It also is an honor for me to appear on the same bill as great singers such as Chaka Khan and Patti LaBelle as well great jazz musicians like Monty Alexander and George Duke.”
And it sounds like the people of St. Lucia share a mutual love for the “You Know I’m No Good” singer- so much so that they’re opening a night club in her honor.
According to a report, the new joint, named “Rehab” will be up and running in time for the summer. “Work is proceeding at full pelt,” a source said. “The team behind the project couldn’t resist naming the place in tribute to St Lucia’s biggest fan.”
Unfortunately it sounds like Miss Winehouse may be up to her old tricks again. An insider revealed, “Amy spends all her time boozing the days and nights away. Following her hospital visit she’s done no rehearsing for her comeback show despite knowing how important it is for fans and friends in St. Lucia.”

Enjoying her extensive European tour, Beyonce Knowles was spotted doing some sightseeing in Berlin, Germany earlier today (May 8).
The “Crazy in Love” hitmaker looked to be having a great time while visiting the famous landmark Brandenburg Gate ahead of her concert tonight at the O2 World Arena.
In a recent interview with Marie Claire magazine, Beyonce confessed that when she sang at Barack Obama’s Presidential Inaugural Ball earlier this year, her graceful appearance was a total front.
She explained, “I had to tell myself, ‘They asked you to do this. You have to do a great job. This is their history. Calm down. Calm down.’ I barely made it. Literally seconds before the song started, I was crying like a five-year-old.”
As for her marriage to Jay-Z, Knowles said it’s all about planning ahead if they want to get time together. “We try to sync our calendars. I started working on my tour a year ago just to make sure that I had time at home. But you know, that’s part of it. Any other woman who has to go to work and pick up the kids and make dinner - that’s way harder than what I have to do. At least I can say I’m taking two weeks off and really take two weeks off… My priorities are slowly changing. So after this tour I might be tired and want to take two years off. I’ve worked hard enough to be able to do that. I’m in a very good place.”

Earlier this week, Miss Williams was spotted riding around the “Blue Valentine” set looking a bit cranky in between scenes.
The movie centers on a contemporary married couple and charts their evolution over a span of years by cross-cutting between time periods.

We’re used to seeing him playing pretty-boy-style roles, but yesterday (May 7) Ryan Gosling looked a little less than pristine on the set of his new movie “Blue Valentine.”
The “Notebook” stud was spotted sporting a black eye and bruised nose as he signed autographs for fans during a break in filming on the Pennsylvania set.
In addition to “Valentine,” Mr. Gosling has some other exciting projects in the pipeline. He’ll star in “All Good Things” with Kirsten Dunst, and “The Dallas Buyer’s Club.”
Also in the realm of possibility for Ryan is the starring role in “The Green Lantern,” though actors Bradley Cooper and Chris Pine are also in the running for the gig.
