Celebrity Gossip: Celeb Leighton Meester Sexy in Black at the MTV Movie Awards
Everywhere she goes she makes the boys drool, and Leighton Meester was nothing short of spectacular as she arrived at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards.
The “Gossip Girl” gal sported a beautiful black cut-out dress teamed with a pair of purple suede high-heeled booties and plenty of designer bling.
Miss Meester joined a who’s who of Hollywood celebrities such as Cameron Diaz, Lauren Conrad, Audrina Patridge, and Kristen Stewart at the Gibson Amphitheatre.
And with sneak peeks of “New Moon,” “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra,” and “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” it’s sure to be an action-packed evening.

Hollywood Gossip: “Gossip Girl” Stars Get Upfront in NYC
Out promoting their hit show, the stars of “Gossip Girl” turned up for the CW Network 2009 Upfront at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Thursday (May 21).
Representing the ladies were Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Taylor Momsen and Jessica Szohr - all of whom posed solo before joining alongside one another for a group shot.
As for the fellas, Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick both looked snazzy in suits as they posed for the cameras.
And though the “Gossip Girl” cast seems to have secured a solid future with strong ratings, it was just announced that the CW has scrapped their spin-off plans of a show featuring Brittany Snow as Lily Rhodes.

Hollywood News: Leighton Meester and Minka Kelly are Friendly on the Set
Becoming quite the dynamic duo, Leighton Meester and Minka Kelly were hard at work once again on the set of “The Roommate” earlier today (May 15).
The brunette beauties seemed rather focused while they filmed a scene at a Hollywood Blvd tattoo parlor while giving the paparazzi even more reason to snap pics as they grabbed each other and held hands.
The already much anticipated film involves college student Sara (Minka), who finds her safety in jeopardy after she’s assigned to a dorm room with a new roommate, Rebecca (Leighton).
Also starring Cam Gigandet and Matt Lanter, a release date has not yet been set for the upcoming comedy flick.

Movie Celeb Leighton Meester Keeps Busy with “The Roommate”
Hard at work on her new movie, Leighton Meester shot scenes for “The Roommate” in Los Angeles on Friday evening (May 1).
In the Sony Screen Gems film, Meester plays a character named Sara, described as “a college student who is randomly assigned to a freshman dorm with a stranger named Rebecca. Things turn deadly when Rebecca becomes obsessed and begins targeting people in Sara’s life.”
Meanwhile, Miss Meester has also been readying for the release of her upcoming studio album.
Talking to Entertainment Weekly about her new disc, Leighton boasts, “It’s very pop. You can listen to it on the radio. You can listen to it in your car. You can dance to it. There is somewhat of a sexual undertone to a lot of songs. I’m a grown woman (laughs).”

In the past, the worlds of Sci-Fi and super-hot babes didn’t intersect very often. But that all changed at last night’s (April 30) Hollywood premiere of “Star Trek.”
“Gossip Girl” babe Leighton Meester arrived at the star-studded event looking positively breathtaking in a sleek grey dress with strappy black heels and a black clutch.
Additionally, Heidi Klum flashed her best attempt at the ‘live long and prosper’ hand gesture as she hammed it up in the arrivals area outside Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.
The “Project Runway” knockout looked flirty and fun in a sleeveless black minidress with a prom-style updo. “Star Trek” hits theaters nationwide next Friday, May 8th.

Stepping out for a little beautification treatment, Leighton Meester was spotted at the Byron & Tracey Salon in Beverly Hills yesterday afternoon (April 28).
The “Gossip Girl” hottie looked lovely in a white tank top with a white vest teamed with a pair of blue stretch pants and brown strappy sandals.
And it sounds like Leighton is taking advantage of her CW hiatus to venture into other projects to help expand her career.
Miss Meester is currently filming a movie called “Date Night” as well has hanging out in the recording studio with top producers as she works on an upcoming “electro-pop edge” album.
