Celebrity Gossip: Jennifer Garner and Violet Enjoy Shopping on Rainy Day
Out for mother/daughter bonding time, Jennifer Garner and Violet Affleck braved the rain in Boston, Massachusetts to do some shopping on Tuesday (June 9).
As the former “Alias” actress walked along, her little girl followed beside her wearing a cute pink raincoat with matching boots while giddily toting around her umbrella.
Meanwhile, back home in Santa Monica, there’s been a bit of an uproar over paparazzi presence at Violet’s school, First Presbyterian Nursery School.
Reports tell that “city officials have received letters from thirty parents complaining about the nuisance caused by the paparazzi.”
“Our families deserve the opportunity to give our children a safe place to learn and grow,” one parent said.
As a result, Santa Monica City Councilman Richard Bloom has agreed to investigate the situation, telling, “It has reached a point at this particular school where these folks feel strongly enough about it to contact a council member and ask if something could be done.”

Celebrity Gossip: Celeb Jennifer Garner Family Time in Boston
Stepping out for an afternoon stroll, Jennifer Garner was spotted pushing baby Seraphina in her stroller up and down the streets of Boston on Tuesday (June 2).
The mother-daughter duo later met up with Jen’s mom and sister, with the Garner ladies all doting on little Seraphina as they continued along with the day.
Talking to press about the difficulties in raising children as a celebrity, Garner previously told press, “Now, it’s worse because of the entire world of tabloid journalism. Now, there are almost as many video cameras as there are film cameras and the situation has shifted so that a huge amount of their focus is put on the children of celebrities… To call it a ‘problem’ is the hugest understatement in the world. There are no laws protecting children. They have no right to privacy. Because my husband and I are public figures, it is assumed that our daughters are public figures, and there’s nothing to protect them.”
The “Alias” actress continued, “There are cars chasing us outside our home day and night - through red lights. There is absolutely nothing - nothing, nothing - on the side of care. When we go to preschool, there are so many paparazzi there that they are knocking kids on the heads with cameras and knocking them down.”

Virgin Celeb Jennifer Garner is Looking Out for America’s Youth
Always doing what she can for charity, Jennifer Garner attended a book reading session at the Rosemount Center in Washington DC on Tuesday (May 5).
Joined by her mother, former schoolteacher Pat Garner, the former “Alias” actress seemed to be thoroughly enjoying herself as she entertained a group of schoolchildren.
According to PR insider reports, the pair were there to “launch the 2009 State of the World’s Mothers report, which presents alarming findings on the lack of adequate early childhood education across the country and around the world.”
Also among their duties, Jen and Pat are going to “explain the meaning and implications of the report’s findings in the United States as well as advocate for an increased federal commitment to American children.”

Boston: Jennifer Garner and Violet Affleck, Errand Girls
Kicking off their week with some errand-running, Jennifer Garner and her daughter Violet Affleck were spotted out and about in Boston, Massachusetts earlier today (May 4).
The “Ghosts of Girlfriends Past” hottie and her adorable 3-year-old looked a bit dour as they stopped into a coffee shop before making a trip to a medical building.
From there, they decided to pick up some healthy eats at a nearby Whole Foods grocery store before heading back to their residence.
Speaking of houses, Jen and her husband Ben Affleck recently closed on an 8800 square-foot mansion (5 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, pool/poolhouse) in the Pacific Palisades, forking over $17.55 million for the property.

Hot Couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner enjoyed a juicy weekend in Boston
Continuing their time out east, Jennifer Garner and her husband Ben Affleck were spotted out and about with their daughter Violet yesterday afternoon (May 3).
The usually-happy family looked a bit distant and downcast as they strolled down the street, with Violet eventually climbing back into her stroller to take a rest from walking.
Both Ben and Jen seemed to be upset about something, and Garner repeatedly grabbed her hubby’s hand as a sign of affection as they walked.
Affleck is currently working in Boston on his current film “The Company Men,” and Jen has relocated herself and their daughters to be close to their dad.
